  • Award-winning comic book artist and writer Darwyn Cooke passed away at the age of 53 on May 14. He is best remembered for his bold, retro style. His work includes DC: The New Frontier and Batman: Ego and Other Tails.
  • Dark Horse promoted Kari Yadro to director of Custom Programs. Yadro will serve as head of the Dark Horse Comics custom publishing and products program.
  • The 2016 German Spiel des Jahres or “Game of the Year” design award nominations were released. The three nominees were designed by Vladimir Chvatil, Phil Walker-Harding and Dorn Rudiger.
