The Academy of Model Aeronautics is looking for sponsors for its 2014 National Model Aviation Day celebration.
The AMA created National Model Aviation Day, Aug. 16, to encourage model aviation clubs to celebrate the hobby and share it with the public. All proceeds from the event will support the Wounded Warrior Project. Last year’s inaugural Model Aviation Day saw participation from more than 176 clubs and raised $76,000.
Sponsorship spots for the 2014 National Model Aviation Day are still available.
A company that purchases a Major Sponsorship ($2,500) will receive inclusion of its logo on all National Model Aviation Day T-shirts; advertising space in the new AMA Foundation newsletter; a featured listing on the National Model Aviation Day website, including a link to the sponsor’s website; exposure in a National Model Aviation Day ad in Model Aviation magazine; inclusion in National Model Aviation Day social media and blog promotions; coverage in AMA club and membership emails; publicity through national press release distributions; and recognition at the National Model Aviation Day celebration at the AMA headquarters in Muncie, Ind. Four Major Sponsorship spots were available as of this writing.
A company that purchases a Featured Sponsorship ($500) will receive inclusion on the National Model Aviation Day website; exposure in a National Model Aviation Day ad in Model Aviation magazine; inclusion in National Model Aviation Day social media and blog promotions; coverage in AMA club and membership emails; and publicity through national press release distributions. There are unlimited Featured Sponsorship spots available.
