Eaglemoss names William Tell as exclusive distributor

 William Tell expects to begin shipping Eaglemoss Publications' new Warships of the World die-cast line in May.
Eaglemoss selected Minneapolis-based Williams Tell as its exclusive North American distributor for the new die-cast line, according to a March 25 press release.
“For years, airplanes, tanks, combat vehicles, guns and other die-cast models have been available to military enthusiasts, but collector-quality ships have been almost unknown,” William Tell Chief Executive Rick Apple said. “Until now. With this announcement, the number of die-cast warship models available in North America has virtually doubled overnight — and we’ll be bringing out dozens of additional types in the coming months.”
Eaglemoss announced 10 new warship models, ranging from Japanese and U.S. aircraft carriers to German, British and Japanese battleships. Models from the Warships of the World line are manufactured in 1:1100 scale. Each replica has a suggested retail price of $29.95. William Tell is expected to start shipping the models in May.
