On the first day of the National Retail Hobby Stores’ 2015 Convention and Table Top Expo in Las Vegas, Nev., Noel Bays was announced as president of the NRHSA board of directors.

Bays, of Hobby Force in Ontario, Ohio, succeeds Bruce Throne, who wants to devote more time to his store, Walt’s Hobby, in Syracuse, N.Y. Throne will remain on the board as vice president.

Bays describes the change as a smooth transition and assures that he and Throne will continue their collaborative relationship. “We work well as a team,” Bays says.
