JMD Plastics is set to open a new model railroad superstore in DePere, Wis. on Monday, Sept. 19, 2016.
This is a soft opening, with the official grand opening to follow on Oct. 3-8.
A press release sent out by JMD stated the following:
"Thousands of new products have been added to the shelves and walls, with more coming in daily, with the focus on HO and N scale, though we will carry any items for all scales and can order just about anything for you that is available from any manufacturer and have it pretty quickly....and all at the guaranteed lowest price of any hobby shop or internet retailer!
We have been fortunate to add some additional items for the Don Manlick estate in store this past weekend. These include a bunch of railroad artwork, some of which is valued at as much as $400, but all at $50 or less. A number of additional artifacts from many railroads are up for sale. Additionally, his widow has put about 100 railroad books up for sale...all at $10 or less. There is also a selection of Model Railroader and Railroad Model Craftsman magazines, sold in year bundles, dating back to the 1940s which will go CHEAP!!! Come early for the best selection of these items.
The first 100 people in the store on Monday morning, September 19 will also receive a free gift which you can use on your layout!!" |
